Ceramic coatings are the latest in paint protection technology. Enhances your paints glossy finish, increases hydrophobic properties, and adds extra protection.
Paint Correction is a term used to describe the multi-stage process of restoring the quality of the clearcoat before any ceramic coating or PPF is applied. This process starts with a very thorough wash, clay-bar decontamination, and a multi-step machine polish. This removes swirls, scratches, and other defects from the paint.
A clay bar is a detailing tool used to gently scrub off stuck on debris and contamination such as sap, brake dust, road tar. This is done before polishing to make the surface as clean as possible before a buffer is applied. This process is also done before every vinyl wrap and PPF application.
Machine polishing is the art of a skilled detailer using a powered polisher to remove swirls, scratches, and pits in a vehicle’s clearcoat. Using multiple stages of pads and compound, the clearcoat is meticulously leveled to restore shine and clarity of the paint below.
A ceramic coating is expected to last up to 2 years with proper care. Proper washing methods are also required to prolong a ceramic coating’s effective life.
A ceramic coating is skillfully applied entirely by hand. A small, soft applicator pad is used to wipe the entire surface, panel by panel.
Ceramic coatings are very popular among people who like to care for their vehicle and keep it looking it’s best. It enhances the shine, increases the hydrophobic properties, and lasts longer than synthetic sealants or waxes. Cleaning becomes much easier with a professional coating applied to your vehicle.
